Elite Island Resorts operates a number of beachfront resorts in the Caribbean and Florida and asked us to develop a web site to promote their resorts to a UK audience.
We developed a creative concept based upon the notion of 'casual elegance'. Whilst the resorts are upmarket, the hotels hold a certain Caribbean character which the site had to convey.
We chose to lead with ‘halo’ images and a large photo gallery to help convey both the quality of the resort and the ambiance of each location as – when selling a Caribbean holiday – a picture really can convey a thousand words.
The project consisted of a corporate site for the holding company together with a series of micro-sites for each individual property. All sites interface with the online booking engine as the brief demanded that the web site contribute significantly to a sales uplift.
